Summary:

The Senior Project Manager, Construction at Infinity Group oversees project superintendents and construction teams, ensuring smooth execution. This role involves schedule management, quality assurance, and enhancing project efficiency. The Senior Project Manager, Construction plays a vital role in achieving successful outcomes across diverse projects.

Your knowledge and skills:

  • Establish operational plans and provides guidance to team members, overseeing routine and non-routine areas.
  • Suggest new products, processes, and standards within operational plans, effectively managing responsibilities or projects within a budget.
  • Plan resources and delegate effectively, escalating complex problems as needed and leveraging internal resources for collaborative solutions.
  • Leverage internal resources and expertise to foster effective collaboration and create client-centric solutions.
  • Take responsibility for managing client requests and communications.
  • Collaboratively strategize with clients to develop innovative solutions for problems and explore new services, while consistently improving understanding of client and industry needs for future success.
  • Exercise direct discretion in issue resolution, with limited oversight from the Director and moderate direction for non-routine situations.
  • Manage a small to mid-sized team, including professional individual contributors, supervisors, and/or support-level employees.
  • Contribute suggestions for hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards decisions within the unit, subject to manager approval and Corporate guidelines.
  • Lead, manage, train, and review the work of direct reports.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • If invited, attend project go/no-go meeting hosted by Client Relations.
  • Become aware of all known project information and influence points from previous communications of current project team. Ensure assignment of correct project team members.
  • Awareness of project intent including the "why" and the priority  of the design, function, investment and schedule.
  • Attend introductory meeting by Technical team for awareness.
  • Onsite project meeting with verification of current existing conditions including site access, logistics and phasing parameters. Verify with landlord and building management.
  • Assignment of Project Supervisor to project.
  • Attend lockaway meeting hosted by Director of Procurement.
  • Upon completion of lockaway meeting, schedule and host weekly project meetings with agenda, notes and action points including an invite to the internal project team and all client stakeholders.
  • Receive project kickoff package from Technical including current construction documents, project overview document and safety signage.
  • Establish site services to include storage, dumpster and restroom locations and schedules. Coordinate with Project Team.
  • Daily review of schedules and photo updates.
  • Update, maintain and approve accurate hourly time allocations in Human Resources Platform (HRP).
  • Ongoing internal communication for addressing expectations or scope changes. Includes documentation of any investment adjustments or deficiency tickets. All project adjustments must be memorialized in project meeting agenda notes, investment adjustment request forms and added to Project Management Platform (PMP) schedule.
  • Onsite project walkthrough at each phase or project turnover to client. This includes inspections and phase or project completion acceptance points with acknowledgment of any open items.
  • Delivery of project closeout documents, maintenance manuals and  As-Built Drawings (if required).

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to climb ladders
  • Be able to stand for a long period of time
  • Be able to reach, bend, crawl and climb as associated with supervising a job site
  • Must be willing to maintain all CDC guidelines
